RadarGun

Spring is a wonderful time if you are a baseball fan. Especially if you are a little league player, parent or coach.

Most little leagues organizations are beginning to organize, take applications and get coaches lined up for the big season ahead.

As I was thinking about coaching again this year I was offered the opportunity to write an article about and promote Radar Sports.

Radar Sports has some great products for everyone from professionals to little league fathers who want to see just how fast their kid can pitch.

The radar gun that I like is a a very affordable $176.95. Not only do they carry the entry level guns from Tracer but you can move up to higher end guns from Stalker.

All of Radar Sports systems come with free UPS shipping in the continental United States and all items are always in stock.

They are not only specialized in baseball however, carrying radar equipment for every sport including soccer, hockey, golf, softball, tennis and remote control cars. These radar guns make a great gift for coaches and parents in any sport!

In addition to sports radar equipment, they carry radar equipment for police and traffic applications. I could imagine using the radar to catch the crazy teenager at the end of our cul-de-sac speeding down our street. His father would love to see the speeds I can imagine I could clock him at!

So all of you reading this post that know me personally, be sure to mark a radar gun from Radar Sports on your list of gift ideas for me : )

Os-v-Angels-17 Elation is the best word that the Machine Pitch Orioles and parents felt last night as we won our first game! We had lost all five of our previous games. Tonight however we came out of the bull pen swinging! We played an exceptional game! Skeeter played first base and made some good plays and got a hit every at bat! I am so proud of my little Skeeter.

To put this in context you have to understand that 4 years ago when he started in t-ball he was scared of the ball. He would run from it. He could not catch the ball in the air until the end of his second year of t-ball. Now he is playing a key position and doing well and batting like a pro. The nice thing about this game is that everyone hit the ball. There were two kids on the team that could not get the bat on the ball.

Tonight however both of those boys hit and both scored. To say the least I cannot say enough about sports and other activities in our kids lives. Teaching kids good sportsmanship, how to win graciously and how to be a good loser are all important lessons in life. Kids need to experience these emotions at a young age. Life is full of wins and losses, they might as well get used to it.

Of note, during my daily read I found this article which talks about a school banning high fives! The article is a little bit biased and rhetorical, but is an interesting read for anyone who is into sports. Read the article here.

Good Day!
